Puerto de Mogán
Monday, October 1

Puerto de Mogán is a charming tourist town. Developed in the 1980s around an old fishing village, it has a small beach with fine sand and a delightful harbor. Picturesque streets, water canals, and colorful Mediterranean-style houses are all wrapped in bougainvillea flowers.
The harbor walk offers a great view of yachts and the fishing port, as well as a chance to explore the many small shops that offer a variety of handcrafted products.
During an hour-long boat trip along the southwestern coast of Gran Canaria you will also be able to enjoy the views of the cliffs and observe marine wildlife through the boat’s glass windows.
We will end the trip with a delightful lunch facing the sea.
Teror and Arucas
Tuesday, October 2

Teror is a traditional town with historical value, full of late-colonial houses with typical Canarian balconies, most made of Canarian pine. It is a place of pilgrimage for all the residents of Gran Canaria, as it holds in its Basilica the statue of the Virgen del Pino, Patroness of the Canary Islands Diocese. You will find craft shops in the historic center as well as quaint home décor shops.
After visiting Teror, we will briefly stop in Arucas to admire its neo-Gothic church and to have lunch at the beautiful Jardín de la Marquesa (Garden of the Marchioness), a relaxing natural paradise. This botanic garden was built around 1880 when the Marquis of Arucas started to collect plant species. Here you will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of plants and vegetation from all around the world.
Finally, we will visit a banana plantation, one of Gran Canaria’s principal agricultural exports.
Inland Southwestern Gran Canaria
Thursday, October 4
9:30 a. m. - 5:30 p. m.
Before heading to San Bartolomé, we will visit La Fortaleza de Ansite (Ansite Fortress), a significant archaeological site that contains numerous archaeological features from the aboriginal period, such as households, communal granaries, and burial sites.
At San Bartolomé de Tirajana we will visit the award-winning Tunte Winery and discover authentic local flavors at a wine tasting.
The lunch will be served at the Hotel Las Tirajanas along with a fantastic view to the valley.
Finally, on our way back to Meloneras, we will stop at the picturesque village of Fataga, situated in the "Valley of the Thousand Palm Trees."
Agüimes and Guayadeque
Friday, October 5

The small town of Agüimes is a beautiful example of a traditional Canarian village in the hills. The narrow streets of its picturesque center are filled with statues, sculptures, and the historic neoclassical church of San Sebastián.
Guayadeque, near Agüimes, is a river valley known for its archaeological remains, endemic flora and fauna, and stunning views. It is also famous for its large number of cave dwellings, which date back hundreds of years, including a hermitage and several restaurants that specialize in traditional Canarian cuisine.

Catamaran and sailboat Experience

Explore Gran Canaria as it was meant to be enjoyed: spend a fantastic day aboard the Supercat, the world’s largest catamaran, for a perfect mixture of relaxation and adventure.
Starting in the harbour of Puerto Base, in Puerto Rico, we will set off and sail along the southwestern coast of Gran Canaria to explore the subtropical waters. You will be surprised by the impressive cliffs, the secluded coves, and the gorgeous beaches—you may even be able to see dolphins! During the whole trip you will also be able to enjoy the open bar. We will anchor in a bay in front of the dreamy Güigüi beach, a nature reserve only reachable by foot or by boat. There you will be able to take a swim and enjoy the crystal-clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean, lay down in the sunloungers on deck or relax in the Jacuzzi on board while lunch is prepared.

Las Palmas

The capital city of Gran Canaria, Las Palmas, is the most cosmopolitan and vibrant city of the Canary Islands.
Soak in Las Palmas’ rich 540-year history by visiting the Columbus House Museum with its magnificent patios and exhibition halls. Revive Christopher Columbus’ travels, his stays on the islands, and the relationships of the archipelago with the new continent. Discover the city’s historical past by strolling through the distinct colonial architecture of old town Vegueta.
You will enjoy a wonderful lunch at the unique Gabinete Literario Club, located in a beautiful modernist style building.
Afterwards, you will be able to visit the rest of the city with a sightseeing tour that will guide you through city’s main districts, including Ciudad Jardín residential district, the port area, Las Canteras beach, and Altavista’s panoramic views.
You can also opt to spend the afternoon discovering the city on your own, visiting other great museums in Vegueta, shopping at Triana district or enjoying a swim at the gorgeous Las Canteras beach.
